What We Do
Super Pilates is a discreet and modern studio located on Barrow Street in the West Village of Manhattan. It offers private one-on-one equipment-based Pilates sessions and customized HIIT training. Your multi-lingual instructor has taught clients around the world, having received full certification in both the US and the UK. In addition to having served as a contributing editor for Pilates Style magazine, she is the author of the book, The Brazilian Bikini Body Program. Her training as a competitive fencer extends to members of Team USA. At Super Pilates, the emphasis is on classical Pilates method and technique, with special attention paid to biomechanics and form. No matter what shape you're in, healthy or injured, novice or expert, Super Pilates will design a customized practice for you.

How We Work
Super Pilates adheres to the traditional, classical form of Pilates. Classical Pilates is neither "yoga-like," nor slow. It is dynamic, complex and challenging. The Pilates Method comes from Joseph Pilates' technique of Contrology: the Art of Control. Pilates recognized how the brain's motor functions control body mobility. He formulated a totally unique and systemically complete regimen that "develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit."
Clients can customize their Pilates instruction with HIIT using rowing and plyometrics. Nutritional guidance and counseling based on years of research are also offered. Super Pilates clients can attest to achieving greater power, balance, and lithe, lean bodies with increased resilience to the effects of age.
